Columbia After Dark’s 9th Annual New Year’s Eve Dance

A great alternative to the bar scene

and to the more expensive events that night!

Join your friends for the evening, or stop by for awhile

if you are making the rounds of several parties that night

All your favorite party tunes plus line dances, shag, rock,

couples dances, mingles dances, and more
including Magic Show by Magician Brandon Wagster!

Heavy hors d’oeuvres, NYE celebration at midnight

Tickets will be on sale at CAD events and from CAD staff members

Join us for set-up before each dance at 5pm.

We especially need some MEN to help out so that the women aren't setting up

and taking down the big tables – show us your support and muscles.

See you at 5pm - we usually have time to enjoy dinner together before the dance.

Directions to the Singles Dances at The Hugh Dimmery Memorial Center (aka "The Barn")

from downtown Columbia, take I-26 east towards Charleston,

take the Airport exit (#113-Hwy302) and turn left at the exit ramp light.

Go under the bridge to the next light and

take a left again (like you are getting back onto the interstate)

and take an immediate right onto the frontage road, Cherokee Lane.

The Barn is at 680 Cherokee Lane, West Columbia SC,

right past the Cambridge Plaza Hotel & Legends,

and behind The Promenade western wear shop

Singles Dance and Thanksgiving Dinner!



$7 cover at the door, casual dress

Thanksgiving Dinner 5:00pm - 6:30pm

Dance 7:00pm - 11:00pm

with free Line Dance Lessons 6:45 – 7:15

Join us as we celebrate a Thanksgiving meal with friends,

bring your covered dish at 5pm and be prepared to eat!

Turkey will be provided. If you don't cook, make a run to your favorite

fast food place or the grocery store to pick up a few items;

if you do cook, show off your skills!

We will eat at 5:00. Kitchen closes at 6:30pm.

Singles Dance and Christmas Party

CHRISTMAS DINNER before the dance - Join us as we celebrate a Christmas meal with friends, bring your covered dish at 5pm and be prepared to eat! HAM will be provided - if you don't cook, make a run to your favorite fast food place (fried/grilled chicken) or the grocery store to pick up a few items; if you do cook, show off your skills! (casseroles, mac and cheese, stuffing/dressing, mashed potatoes, squash, corn, green beans, cole slaw, sweet potatoes, potato salad, macaroni salad, any vegetable, desserts, rolls/bread, ice tea, fruits - these are just a few examples). We will eat from 5:00-6:30pm and food will be cleared away at 6:30pm.
